Our key individuals bring an array of professional expertise in construction design and consulting as well as decades of on-the-ground experience in the industry. Three of our staff have are members of the prestegious American Society of Theatre Consultants.
We've served as teachers, led seminars, designed and installed systems, trained users, and developed new theater products. We’ve studied structures, interiors, acoustics, architecture, HVAC, electrical systems, networks, fabrics and the psychology of the human mind in assembly environments. We’ve performed in plays, built sets, played in professional orchestras, and spent long hours cutting gels.
Working professionally in the office and in the field with dozens of leading architectural firms, we would be proud to bring our skills, experience, and creativity to support your next project.
Our key staff have over 80 years of combined experience in theatrical consulting. We are well versed in all areas of performance space consulting & technical systems design for performing arts spaces.
The majority of projects we design are done collaboratively with talented teams of architects, engineers, & other design team members. Because performance venues are complex spaces with unique needs, we work closely with the other members of the design team to ensure that the building infrastructure works holistically with the purpose of the venue.
Early engagement is vital to ensure the sucess of your project.
Whether you are planning a state of the art new facility, or renovating an existing historic gem, we can help guide you through the early stages of any project to set it up for success.
Question: What's the most commonly identified difference between a venue loved by patrons, performers & technicians, and a venue those same groups love to hate?
Answer: The spatial relationships of the areas in which those groups watch, perform, and work.
We have designed everything from intimate studio theatre spaces, to large performing arts centers packed with leading edge technology.
Our philosophy is to design forward looking technical systems, without compromising ease of use for end users.
Our approach is holistic. The majority of the work we do, will never be seen on Contract Documents or Deliverables.
Our job is to translate the language of performing arts into the language of architecture and construction.
We are working hard get our new website completed. Until then, please connect with us using any of the methods below.
